Lex Veldhuis is the Netherlands' best-known poker personality and one of the pioneers of poker streaming. Born in Vlissingen in 1983, he came up through the online high-stakes games of the mid-2000s and was a PokerStars ambassador for seventeen years, a run that ended in January 2026. On Twitch he set the record for a poker stream in June 2020 with 58,799 concurrent viewers during a SCOOP final table, and his channel became the entry point to the game for a generation of Dutch and international players. He has more than $700,000 in live tournament earnings and returned to streaming in early 2026, now playing on GGPoker.
