SA Poker Open 2026

The SA Poker Open is the seventeenth playTSOGO Poker Series and, on Tsogo Sun's own billing, the biggest poker series in Africa. It runs at Montecasino's Poker Lounge in Fourways from 11 September to 8 November 2026, a nine-week festival rather than a single week of events. The operator guarantees more than R10 million in prize pools and expects roughly R23 million in total prize money once entries are counted, with satellites running throughout. Two events give the 2026 edition its shape. The Hendon Mob lends its name to a South African event for the first time with The Hendon Mob SA Millions, an R9,000 buy-in with a R1.5 million guarantee and multiple Day 1 flights. And the R100,000 Super High Roller Freezeout grows from a 27-player cap, which drew a waiting list last time, to 36 seats. Flagship guarantees run from the R4 million Main Event down through the R2 million High Roller, the R1 million ShuffleUp Poker Championship, the R750,000 Mini Main Maxi, the R600,000 Deep Stack Classic and the R500,000 Ultimate Tournament, with a Mini High Roller, a Mystery Bounty Turbo and One Day One Life also on the card.
