Dutch poker players: the Netherlands all-time live money list
The Netherlands has produced two distinct generations of tournament player: the televised-era names who built the country's reputation in the 2000s, and a later group of high-stakes regulars who have won considerably more money with far less of the fame. Both are on this list, and the gap between how well known a Dutch player is and how much they have won is unusually wide.

How to read this list
The order is by total recorded live tournament earnings in US dollars, the unit The Hendon Mob reports in. Every figure was read from that player's own money-list entry and stored with the date it was checked, so a number on this page always has a date attached to it rather than being presented as permanently current. When a figure passes our review interval it goes back into the queue to be re-read.
The top of the list
Teun Mulder leads our Dutch list at $11,236,038. Behind him come Johannes Straver at $7,796,676, Jans Arends at $7,045,768, Tom Vogelsang at $6,939,866 and Jorryt van Hoof at $6,554,496. Marcel Luske, the player most non-specialists would name first, sits at $5,327,018. Lex Veldhuis is recorded at $707,775 across 39 cashes. All of these figures were verified in September 2026 against The Hendon Mob.
The pattern is worth saying plainly: the best-known Dutch player is not the biggest Dutch earner. Luske built his reputation in the televised era, when both the fields and the prize pools were smaller than they are now. Most of the players above him on this list came later and played for more.
What a live money list does not measure
Veldhuis's position near the bottom of this list is the clearest illustration of the limits of the format. His standing in Dutch poker rests on online play and on streaming, neither of which produces a live tournament cash. A money list is a record of live results, not of a career or an influence — which is worth remembering before reading any ordering of this kind as a ranking of ability.
For the same reason, the ordering here should be read as earnings to date rather than as a verdict. A single deep run in a large main event moves a player several places.
Where Dutch players play
The Netherlands is a licensed online market, and Holland Casino's Master Classics of Poker in Amsterdam is the domestic flagship — our Netherlands tournaments page covers that event and the caveats on its current dates. The Netherlands market page sets out the licensing position for online play.
All earnings figures on this list are attributed to The Hendon Mob, which is where we read them.
Frequently asked questions
Who is the top Dutch poker player by live earnings?
On our list, Teun Mulder, with $11,236,038 in recorded live tournament earnings as verified against The Hendon Mob in September 2026.
Is Marcel Luske the biggest Dutch earner?
No. Luske is the best known Dutch player internationally, with $5,327,018 recorded, but five Dutch players on our list have won more in live tournaments.
Why are Lex Veldhuis's live earnings so low?
Veldhuis is recorded at $707,775 across 39 live cashes. His career has been built online and on stream, and a live money list records only live tournament results, so it captures very little of what he is known for.
Where do these figures come from?
Each figure was read from the player's own entry on The Hendon Mob and stored with the date it was checked. The figures on this list were verified in September 2026.
