The Irish Poker Open is the longest-running no-limit hold'em tournament in Europe, first played in 1980, and was named Best Standalone Festival at the 2025 Global Poker Awards. The 2027 festival runs from 18 to 29 March at the Royal Dublin Society in Ballsbridge. The €1,150 Main Event carries a €2,500,000 guarantee, the €1,000,000-guaranteed Mini Irish Open and a €1,000,000-guaranteed Mystery Bounty sit alongside it, and the full schedule runs to around ninety events with a famous social programme every night. The 2026 edition set records with more than 5,000 Main Event entries, 32,000 tournament entries across 89 events and over €14.5 million paid out; Narcis-Gabriel Nedelcu won the Main Event.
