What "DeepStack" means at this room
The Venetian started the Extravaganza in 2007 after players asked for better structures, and the series is defined by more starting chips and longer levels than the buy-in would normally buy. That lengthens the tournament and shifts the balance from all-in arithmetic towards post-flop play. It also means planning for multiple full days: every event above runs three to four days with starting flights before its final day.
Picking a week
The cheap end sits at either end of the calendar — the $600 closer from 20 December is the lowest entry with a published guarantee. The middle fortnight in December is the dense part, with the championship, the seniors event and a $1,100 event inside nine days, which is the stretch to book if you want more than one shot.
Before and after
The WPT Fall Festival runs 28 October to 15 November immediately before this series, and a DeepStack Extravaganza NYE block follows from 24 December into January 2027.
