Charlie Carrel is the poster child for turning a tiny online deposit into a fortune. Born in Jersey in 1993 and raised in London from the age of seven, he built a £10 deposit on PokerStars into more than £3 million by 2017 under the alias 'Epiphany77', and became a familiar face on the live circuit with an EPT Monte Carlo high-roller win in 2015 and a $1,611,620 score at the Triton Super High Roller Series in London in 2019. He also won the 2020 WPT Online Super High Roller for $600,250. Known as much for his YouTube content and coaching as for his results, he has more than $9.6 million in live earnings and founded the charity Thrive.
