Holland Casino Amsterdam, on Max Euweplein beside the Leidseplein, is the flagship of the state-owned Holland Casino chain and the centre of live poker in the Netherlands. Its poker room runs daily cash games, mostly no-limit hold'em with some pot-limit Omaha, plus a regular schedule of tournaments. Every November it hosts the Master Classics of Poker, one of Europe's oldest poker festivals, whose €3,000 main event has run since 1992 and draws the country's best players together with an international field. The venue is easy to reach from the city centre and Schiphol, the minimum age is 18 and a valid ID is required for entry.
