Fedor Holz passes $50 million as Germany's all-time top 15 gets a new look
The German all-time money list has been reshuffled by an extraordinary 2025–26 on the high-roller circuit. Fedor Holz is the first German past $50 million in live earnings ($50.7M), Christoph Vogelsang has closed to $47.1M, and Christopher Nam Nguyen — barely on the list two years ago — has climbed to eleventh with $11.9M after an EPT Monte Carlo €100k title, a WSOP Europe bracelet and a Triton Montenegro win inside twelve months. Leon Sturm (ninth, $13.7M) and Leonard Maue (fifteenth, $9.8M), both Vienna-based, round out a generation that has replaced the 2013–14 super-high-roller names of Gruissem and Reinkemeier at the top of the German game.
The list, as published by The Hendon Mob in September 2026, runs: Holz $50.7M, Vogelsang $47.1M, Rainer Kempe $23.5M, Koray Aldemir $23.3M, Ole Schemion $22.3M, Dominik Nitsche $21.7M, Hossein Ensan $15.9M, Steffen Sontheimer $13.7M, Leon Sturm $13.7M, Manig Loeser $12.2M, Nguyen $11.9M, Philipp Gruissem $11.5M, Tobias Reinkemeier $11.2M, Stefan Schillhabel $10.3M and Maue $9.8M. Two things stand out. Germany is the only country with two WSOP Main Event champions in its top ten from the last decade (Ensan 2019, Aldemir 2021), and six of the fifteen now live abroad — Vogelsang in London, Kempe, Sontheimer and Schillhabel in Brighton, Sturm and Maue in Vienna — a reminder that Germany's licensing rules and 5.3% stake tax push its professionals toward friendlier tax homes even as GGPoker.de brings the online game back onshore.
