Colombia's poker estate, mapped end to end: twenty-two rooms, one table count, no tournament calendars
We have now read every Colombian room on PokerAtlas's poker list, one page at a time, and the picture that emerges is not the one the directories imply. Twenty-two venues are listed as poker rooms across Bogotá, Medellín, the coffee region, the Caribbean coast and — in a single case — Santander. Exactly one of them publishes how many poker tables it has. Not one publishes a tournament schedule. Meanwhile the country's only circuit of consequence, the Winner Poker Series, finished its 2026 edition at Casino Hollywood Medellín on 2 November, and the day after, the organiser's own page still advertised the festival in the future tense with no results and no 2027 dates.
What we did
Colombia takes a meaningful share of this site's traffic, and until now its venue coverage was partial: the Winner Group rooms and the Casino Rio chain, with the rest of the directory listing unread. Over the last two runs we have read each remaining room's own page individually and written it up, which takes Colombia's published venue count to twenty-two — the complete listed estate.
The finding: this is a cash-and-slots estate with one festival bolted on
Of the twenty-two rooms, PokerAtlas records that none currently runs poker tournaments. Only Luckia Casino Bogotá publishes a poker table count, and at six tables it is, on the published evidence, the largest poker room in the country — and it is not a Winner Group venue. Everything competitive happens inside one circuit instead: the Winner Poker Series, whose 2026 edition played eight tournaments at Casino Hollywood Medellín between 21 October and 2 November, headlined by a Main Event at a published 2,200,000-peso buy-in.
So a player planning a Colombian trip around a tournament has one calendar to watch, not an estate to browse. That is worth saying out loud, because a list of twenty-two poker rooms suggests otherwise.
Three details that will catch travellers out
Casino Havana 80 in Medellín is flagged as temporarily closed — the only room on the list carrying that status. Luckia Casino Bogotá is shut all day Sunday and otherwise opens at 14:00 and runs to 06:00, the opposite shape to the shopping-centre casinos that open at 10:00 in the morning. And Casino Havana 70 is the one Colombian room publishing round-the-clock hours, though nothing on its page says the poker tables keep the building's hours, which is not the same promise at all.
What is still unverified, and why we say so
For most of these rooms the directory gives an address, a telephone number, opening hours and a minimum age of 18 — and nothing about the poker. No stakes, no rake, no table count, and no statement of whether the game dealt is player-versus-player poker or a house-banked variant of it. Licensed Latin American casinos spread both, and we would rather publish the gap than fill it with an assumption. Luckia's own Colombian website refuses access from outside Colombia, which closed off the obvious route to confirming stakes at the largest room on the list.
The circuit's own page is behind
As of 3 November 2026, the day after the 2026 Winner Poker Series finished, Winner Group's series page still read as a preview of the Medellín stop: no Main Event result, no champion named, no 2027 schedule. We have recorded that as a verified negative rather than guessing at an outcome, and the Casino Hollywood Medellín record now says so.
A word on how to read any of this
Poker is a game of skill played for entertainment. It is not an income, and it is not a way out of a financial problem. Colombian casinos are licensed by Coljuegos and the minimum age is 18; decide what a session is worth to you before you sit down, and stop there.
