Casino Graz's December card: a EUR 6,666 Krampus bounty, and two cheap routes into the EUR 1 million CAPT Million

Casino Graz plays tournaments on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and its published calendar now runs to 29 December 2026. What stands out reading it in full is how low the prices are. Of the eight December events, five cost EUR 60 or less all-in, and two of those — the Newcomer Tuesday on 8 December and the Newcomer Bounty Tuesday on 22 December — are EUR 30 plus a EUR 6 fee, which is about as cheap as live tournament poker gets in a state casino.

The exception, and the only event on the December list with a published guarantee, is the Krampus und Nikolo Bounty on Monday 7 December: EUR 6,666 guaranteed from a EUR 100 plus EUR 20 entry, with a EUR 50 bounty on each player and unlimited re-entries. It is also the only December event that starts at 18:00 rather than the room's usual 19:00, and it is named for the Austrian tradition in which Saint Nicholas arrives with his horned companion on the night of 5 December.

The rest of the month alternates formats rather than prices. A second Crazy Pineapple — three hole cards, one discarded after the flop — is listed for 3 December; a Beginner Mystery Bounty on 15 December applies the drawn-prize format at a EUR 60 buy-in; and a Progressive Bounty on 17 December costs EUR 120 with a EUR 40 bounty that grows as it is passed along. The Beginner Tuesday Classic appears three times, on 24 November, 1 December and 29 December, the last of which closes the room's tournament year. After 22 December the only scheduled poker is cash: X-Mas Cash Game Days from 26 to 28 December, with a EUR 500 high-hand flip each day.

Before any of that, November is about the CAPT Million, the Casinos Austria Poker Tour event carrying a EUR 1 million guarantee that several of the group's rooms feed. Graz has two dates in it. A satellite on Tuesday 10 November costs EUR 50 plus a EUR 10 fee, with unlimited re-entries, and awards five tickets worth EUR 550 each — which is to say, a EUR 60 shot at covering the full entry four days later. The start day itself is on Saturday 14 November at 16:00, EUR 500 plus a EUR 50 fee with one re-entry, 100,000 chips and 30-minute levels, with late registration open to the end of level ten.

One caution for anyone planning around those dates, because the casino's own page is not clean. The start-day line still prints the year as 2025, which cannot be right: the surrounding calendar is entirely autumn 2026, and 14 November 2026 is a Saturday, which fits a weekend start day rather than the room's weeknight slots.
