Wheel
Also: bicycle, wheel straight, steel wheel
The lowest possible straight, A-2-3-4-5, with the ace playing low. In lowball and split-pot games such as Omaha Hi-Lo it is also the best possible low hand, and a suited wheel is a 'steel wheel'.
Example. With A-4 in hand on a 2-3-5 board you have flopped the wheel.
The wheel is the only straight where the ace is used low, and it loses to any higher straight, including 6-high. In hi-lo games it is the perfect hand because it can scoop both halves, and in 2-7 lowball it is not a low at all because straights count against you there.
