Mississippi straddle

Also: button straddle, sleeper straddle

A straddle posted from a position other than under the gun — most often the button, so that action starts with the small blind and the straddler acts last pre-flop. Popular in American cash games and on some live streams, where it makes the button even more powerful.

Example. With a $10 button straddle live, the small blind had to act first pre-flop.
