Limp-raise

Limping pre-flop with the intention of re-raising if someone raises behind. It is a trapping play with big hands and, in tournaments, a way for short stacks to induce action.

Example. Small blind limps with 18 bb, big blind raises, small blind moves all-in.

The limp-raise is most respected from the small blind and from short stacks with 12–20 big blinds, where limping a wide range and then shoving over an isolation raise is theoretically sound. From early position in a cash game it screams aces, which is exactly why some players use it as a bluff.
