Chip chop

A deal that splits the remaining prize money in proportion to chip counts. It overpays the chip leader and underpays short stacks compared with their true equity, which is why short stacks should insist on an ICM chop instead.

Example. The chip leader with 60% of the chips proposed a chip chop; the two short stacks countered with ICM numbers.
