The Main Event
USD 500 to enter, USD 100,000 guaranteed, 40,000 starting chips on 40-minute levels with late registration open to level 10 and one reentry at the same price. Five Day 1 flights run from Friday 27 November to Monday 30 November, the Sunday-night 1D played as a 15-minute turbo. Day 2 is Tuesday 1 December at 15:00 on hour-long levels; the final day is Wednesday 2 December.
A note on the guarantee
The festival listing shows two different Main Event figures — USD 110,000 in the page header, USD 100,000 in the body text and in the schedule itself. We have published the USD 100,000 that the schedule carries, because the schedule is the more specific statement, and we would rather name the discrepancy than quietly pick the bigger number.
The rest of the festival
The week opens on Tuesday 24 November with the USD 110 NLH Open, three flights and a USD 10,000 guarantee, finishing Thursday afternoon. The USD 800 NLH High Roller starts that same Thursday at 17:00 with 50,000 chips and 30-minute levels, finishing Friday. A USD 200 Second Chance begins Tuesday 1 December, and the festival closes on Wednesday 2 December with the USD 200 Reef Poker Last Chance Turbo.
The cheapest routes in are the three freerolls — Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 20:00, each with a USD 60 reentry and add-on — and the USD 60 Target 150K satellites that run at 15:00 on 28, 29 and 30 November.
Before you go
Santo Domingo Bay is at Boca Chica, between the capital and Las Américas airport. Minimum age 18. Buy-ins add up across a nine-day festival far faster than a single Main Event ticket suggests; work out the whole trip's number first. Poker is entertainment and a game of skill, not an income.
