Alexander Petersen
Aarhus, Denmark, Denmark
Alexander Petersen is eighth on Denmark's all-time money list with total live earnings of $2,550,965, past the $2,000,000 milestone, and is recorded from Aarhus.
He has a World Series of Poker bracelet, and it is also his best cash: he won the $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha Championship, Event #54 of the 2015 World Series in Las Vegas, on 26 June 2015, for $927,655. Winning the WSOP's premier Omaha championship rather than a Hold'em event is the distinction worth noting — it is the toughest field in the game's second-biggest discipline.
That one result accounts for more than a third of everything he has won in live tournaments, which is why his ranking has moved so little since: The Hendon Mob puts him 1,256th on the global all-time money list today against a best rank of 1,023rd, with a Global Poker Index ranking of 18,192nd on the same read.
