Martin Finger
Vienna, Germany
Martin Finger is one of the most travelled German tournament players, 17th on his country's all-time live money list with just under $9 million. Born in Frankenberg in Germany, he is recorded by The Hendon Mob as living in Vienna, and the recent pages of his results are dominated by Asia and Australia rather than Europe — cashes on the Asian Poker Tour in Taipei and Hanoi, Poker Dream in Kuala Lumpur, the Macau Poker Cup and the Sydney Millions. His best single live cash is $1,331,171. His current world ranking of 237th is well below his career high of 82nd, which is the usual signature of a player whose biggest scores came early and whose recent volume sits at lower buy-ins.
