Dominik Panka
Brzesc Kujawski, Poland, Poland
The player who put Polish poker on the international map. Panka won the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event in January 2014 for $1,423,096 — still his best cash and, at the time, the biggest result any Polish player had recorded.
He has stayed a genuine tournament regular rather than fading after the one score, and 2026 was among his better years: second in the $700 Mystery Millions bracelet event at the WSOP in June for $641,319, plus a cash in the PokerStars Open Main Event at EPT Barcelona in August.
His career total stands at $4.54m, third on Poland's all-time list. Unusually for a player at his level he still lists Brzesc Kujawski, the small town in central Poland where he was born, as his home.
