Britain's autumn is the busiest live calendar in Europe — here's all of it
Eight festivals between mid-September and mid-December, across six cities, with guarantees from £50,000 to £550,000 — and a £90,000 national bad beat jackpot sitting over all of it. We mapped the Grosvenor calendar and published every leg.
Between 15 September and 13 December 2026 there are eight live poker festivals running in Britain, and unless you follow one operator's calendar closely it is easy to miss most of them. We read Grosvenor's live calendar this week and published every leg, along with eighteen of the card rooms they play in.
The headline is **GUKPT Leeds**, 24 September to 4 October, with £550,000 guaranteed — a £200,000 Main Event at £900+£100 and a £100,000 Mini Main. The tour then moves to Blackpool.
Mid-September was unusually crowded: the **G300** at The Vic in London (£260+£40, £100,000 guaranteed), the **G200** running simultaneously in Birmingham and Stockton (£175+£25, £50,000), and the **UKPL** at Manchester Bury New Road with a £560 Main Event — three festivals across four cities in the same week.
October belongs to two rooms. **888poker LIVE** returns to The Victoria from the 8th to the 18th with the £888 Main Event. Manchester's **BNR Poker Open** runs 10 to 25 October with £280,000 guaranteed and a deliberate rule that no buy-in exceeds £300 — the most accessible large festival on the calendar.
December brings **Behemoth** to Coventry, 7 to 13 December: £260+£40 for a £250,000 guarantee, with online and live Day 1s and satellites from £1. And the date to put in next year's diary is **Goliath**, 22 July to 1 August 2027, also at Coventry — the largest live poker tournament held anywhere outside Las Vegas. Damon Burch-Hyson won the 2026 edition.
One number worth knowing across all of it: the National Bad Beat Jackpot, shared by every Grosvenor card room between 6pm and 6am, stood at £90,000 in September. It was last claimed in August 2026 at The Victoria in London.
What the map shows is how concentrated British poker is outside London. Coventry takes the biggest fields in the country, Manchester runs two festivals in six weeks, and the GUKPT's northern legs in Leeds and Blackpool carry guarantees most European capitals cannot match.
